TSAI CALLS FOR NUCLEAR FREE HOMELAND
After returning from her trip to Germany, DPP chairperson Tsai Ying-wen further meets with anti-nuclear representatives from Germany in Taiwan, discussing her goal to make the island a nuclear-free nation by 2025.
Tsai expressed her disapproval over the recent approval of the No.4 power plant, which the government is set to allocate 14 billion NT dollars for the project.
In addition, Tsai emphasizes the importance of clean energy, which can create new jobs for the people in Taiwan, while saying it is only way that the island can be safe from the threat of nuclear crisis.
