MA-WU TICKET TO BE CONFIRMED?
It seems that President Ma Ying-jeou's running mate for the election next year will finally be confirmed this week. An anonymous source from the KMT has revealed that Premier Wu Den-yih will be announced as the party's vice-president candidate as early as the upcoming Sunday.
Even though the Ma-Wu ticket has already been considered a done deal, especially after Vice-President Vincent Siew made it clear several weeks ago that he won't seek another term, both the president and the premier have remained tight-lipped on this issue so far.
