It has signed agreements with the Academia Sinica and the National Taiwan Normal University to promote cooperation with them.

National Taiwan Normal University already has 24 sister school agreements and it recently entered into its 25th agreement.

After the signing, a full range of academic exchanges and co-sponsored conferences will begin.

NTNU's cooperation is expected to do more harm than good as Peking University students visiting Taiwan said they would like the opportunity to study in Taiwan.

Peking University President, Zhou Qifeng said that he had the opportunity visit the top universities and search out cooperative opportunities in Taiwan including NTNU, National Tsing Hua University, and National Chiao Tung University.

Peking University has also sought out Academia Sinica as both signed an academic exchange agreement at noon.

Though Peking University has been here for only 3 days, it has accomplished many agreements.
