Following the Yangminshan's flora festival, the Calla Lily Festival has kicked off in Zhuzihu area, where the white flowers have covered the valley, attracting visitors to enjoy its exceptional beauty.

Visitors have come early in the morning to Yangmingshan's Zhuzihu area to the calla lily fields, where they can pick flowers on their own.

Despite the mud on their shoes, visitors, whether young or old, are all having a good time picking up the flowers.

The Calla Lily Festival has been one of the major flora events in Yangmingshan, which has always attracted a huge crowd of visitors to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful flowers in the chiilly early spring.

Calla lilies grown at this area are mostly white.

They are chalice-shaped with a strong stem, and are a favored choice in flower arrangements because they are long-lasting.

Farmers said that flower-picking was usually 100 NT dollars per person and each visitor would be allowed to pick a bouquet of seven flowers while this year, each flower costs only 10 NT dollars.

People who are planning a trip to Zhuzihu are suggested to travel by city buses to avoid traffic congestion.
