Healthy Cuisine Contest
A healthy cooking contest took place over the weekend, attracting many participants from culinary schools throughout Taiwan. Let's take a look at these creative dishes.
Dozens of young chefs are in the kitchen cooking.
Here they are expertly scooping tofu into a pan and stirring carefully.
To the side is another person making a tomato soup, with chefs from 32 culinary schools in Taiwan taking part in this competition.
They want to take CAS certified food and make it into delicious dishes.
One dish includes chicken mixed with garlic and red yeast rice paired with broccoli and egg.
The egg cup also contains 10 steps for health such as eating less meat and more vegetables and is paired with this chef making bamboo steamed rice.
It wasn't only food hygiene but health and displays at the point of sale as this person turned this red yeast meat into a type of rose, and it also decorated the dish with many vegetables making it look like a painting.
There was also this dish which included a banana peel which held some fried rice and was specially good for heartbroken people.
This competition featured creativity and healthy cooking as well as the culinary skills of all competitors.
