Remote Helicopter Contest
The Asian International Remote Control Helicopter Cup will be held later this month in Taichung's Dongshih. With many international competitors coming to Taiwan, locals are rushing to practice before the start of this event.
Before the start of this international competition, a number of Taiwanese players are taking the opportunity to make final practice runs.
They started the engine of these helicopters and maintain them in the air, rocking forward and then back, then executing several difficult moves.
They continue rolling in the air, and at 100 meters in the air, they turn off the engine and still are able to land it safely.
There is also a test of stability and skills and this Asian Cup tournament brings together five different countries in Asia, with twenty different contestants.
Taiwan will have 3 competitors though the lack of suitable venues as well as security considerations and flight restrictions making the development of the sport difficult in Taiwan.
Many hope that there will be more room for this sport to grow and develop in Taiwan.
