Though it is a uniform beauty pageant, most of the contestants wore skimpy outfits, even a 7 year old try to compete, which won many applause.

The event is more of a carnival and all participants prepared for their talent competition of either singing or dancing.

The crown went to the 20 year old tung Li ron, a student at the Taiwan University of the Arts drama department, who is from Kinmen.

The stereotypical image of Kinmen has always been battles and wars, the event is an effort to show people that Kinmen is more than just that.
