You'll need some luck to win the National Taiwan University's Mahjong contest, which has roped in 600 players. Even celebrity graduate Yu took part in the competition for some brain challenge.

The National Taiwan University is holding its second annual Mahjong tournament this year, and more than 600 contestants are all wishing for the tiles that can make them call out "Mahjong".

The event attracted many students across the island, including those that returned for summer from studying abroad. After an intense online battle during the preliminary round, they're back in action for the finals in Taiwan.

Among the group that participated, NTU graduate Yu, who later became a celebrity, also joined the competitive match, but to her disappointment, she was quickly eliminated.

It takes more than having exceptional skills to shout out "Mahjong" and walk away as the ultimate winner.
