Teen Drama Festival
A group of drama-loving high school students spent their summer producing a play from scratch. They not only wrote the script themselves, but also took care of the technical aspects on their own, such as stage properties and lighting. And their efforts have been rewarded with a major prize at this year's National Teenagers' Drama Festival.
The group of students in uniforms are playing themselves in a stage production.
in order to encourage students to go after their dreams, the 17 year-old Chu wrote the play with inspiration from daily lives, hoping to express the importance of facing ones fear of the future through drama.
The groups of drama camp high school students used the summer vacation to rehearse, write script and perform.
They also were responsible for their own lights, props and make-ups.
Though with much pressure, all students experienced a summer with great memories due to their persistence.
This experience taught them that, besides books, there are more interesting things in life waiting for them to accomplish and experience.
