Farming on the Roof
A Taoyuan resident has a little farmland of his own, right on his rooftop. With his self-made organic fertilizer, the enthusiastic farmer has successfully grown more than 20 different kinds of vegetables and fruit.
You don't have to go to the market to buy fresh produce anymore, you can now go straight to Mr. Lee's home.
Mr. Lee is an aspiring farmer in Taoyuan City who is making good use of his small-scale rooftop. By creating it into a land full of crops, you can see a variety of vegetables and fruits grown with his home-made organic fertilizer.
In just three months, he has produced two massive winter melons weighing as much as 50 kilograms, and as big as 80 centimeters in length, which is equivalent to the height of a two-year old toddler.
Besides these enormous winter melons, you can also find more than 300 luffas, which can be harvested in every 20 days.
With his own ways and manners, Mr. Lee has gained a name for himself as the expert of luffas and winter melons in the neighborhood.
