A GLIMPSE INTO PALTROW'S KITCHEN
Despite the heavy rain and strong wind brought by hurricane Irene, Gwyneth Paltrow turned up for a book signing event over the weekend in an independent bookshop in East Hampton of New York City.
Dressed in casual cut-off jeans, a striped sweater with a swimsuit underneath and flip-flops, the make-up free actress looked very glamorous as she warmly greeted to her avid fans.
The Oscar-winning actress, trendsetter, creator of goop.com, and host of the popular PBS series, Spain: On the Road Again, talked about her latest cookbook "My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family and Togetherness," while reading some excerpts from the book for her readers.
As a young girl, Paltrow developed a deep passion for food, which shaped the way she lives today, with family time being her priority.
With this beautifully illustrated cookbook, the actress offers a collection of 150 recipes from her father, the late film and television director and producer Bruce Paltrow.
The book signing took place in a tiny shop called BookHampton, with some of the proceeds going to a local charity, called the East Hampton Food Pantry.
