Love at First Sight
It's love at first sight for the 72-year old woman from Changhua. She fell in love with a man from Australia while visiting her granddaughter on a trip. And it only took the couple three months to figure out that they want to spend the rest of their lives with each other.
Accompanied by her granddaughter, this 72-year old woman arrives back in Taiwan.
She says that her husband, 73-year old George, did not accompany her on the trip due to his fear of flying.
The woman kisses his photograph, and says that George proposed to her three days after meeting her at a casino.
Her granddaughter says that she originally thought George was a scam artist, but changed her mind when she saw how considerate George was towards her grandmother.
Although the woman only knows a few words of English, she and George have been happily married for two years.
Their love transcends language barriers and borders, and they consider their relationship a miracle of love.
