An orphanage in Yunlin's Siluo township is well-known for housing many brilliant young martial artists, who have collected numerous trophies so far. And the key to their success lies in a selfless

instructor who has been training these children for free in the past four years.

The sky is just about dark and Chou Shih-hsiang is riding a motorcycle to this Siluo Xinyi Orphanage.

He began teaching them drums as he volunteered his service as he enjoys interacting with them.

Now he is 64 years old and three days every week for four consecutive years, despite the rain he has traveled from Houwei to Siluo to teach the childrem drums or martial arts.

He treats them all like his children with his instruction.

These trophies and medals, all earned by children here under his direction.

Their success in these competitions comes from his enthusiastic instruction and gives them a lot of self confidence.
