Athletes Return From Asian Games
As the 2010 Asian Games is drawing to an end, 80 athletes of the Chinese Taipei team have already returned to Taiwan on Thursday, including many medal winning players. And the fans gave them a hero's welcome at the airport.
Near 100 people waited to receive Tson ching Yang, who took two gold at the 2010 Asian Games speed roller skating event. Hsiao Mei Yu also was surrounded by friends and family, who was surprised to take home a gold and a bronze in the cycling event.
Hsiaos boyfriend surprised her with a proposal and a ring on his knees, which made Hsiao thrilled to tears.
The 2010 Asian Games is wrapping up with Sports Affaris Minister Dai HsiaLing returning to Taiwan before closing ceremony with 80 plus Chinese Taipei athletes.
Dai said that the government would fight for the right of Taekwondo athlete Yang Shujun over the issue of her disqualification dispute in international lawsuit.
