Pili Studio on Fire
A fire broke out at the PiLi Puppet Theatre in Yunling County yesterday, and in just two hours, it destroyed the 2,000-ping multimedia studio for Taiwan's most famous hand puppet show, including its settings, equipments and many of its precious puppets. The cause of the fire and the estimated losses are still under investigation.
A sad story for all the Taiwanese puppet theater fans; around 1:43 am on the 30th, fire broke out at the Pili Multimedia production companys studio at Yunling Countys TuKu township.
The fire fighting squad rushed to the scene and try to put out the fire as soon as possible, though nobody was injured, the fire was put out only after 2 hours with 2,000 pings of the studio completely destroyed, including all props, puppets, sets and equipments and recently shot footages.
It is still unclear the finance loss of the fire while the police is investigating the cause of the fire with experts.
