U.S. SET TO VOTE ON DEBT LIMIT
The U.S. Congress is set to vote on a deal between the White House and party leaders, to raise the debt ceiling of $14.3 trillion by Tuesday in avoiding the first full-scale national default in its history.
The decision, which has a possibility to affect the international markets, calls for up to $2.4 trillion U.S dollars in savings over the next decade.
