MA, A HAPPY BLOOD DONOR
It has almost been three years since the last time President Ma Ying-jeou donated his blood, for the countries he had visited after taking office in 2008 are mostly in malaria endemic areas.
But recently Ma was finally allowed to do so again, and he was more than eager to resume the act of generosity.
Ma donated his blood for the 179th time yesterday during his visit to the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan. And he couldn't hide his excitement over the experience, saying that despite heading toward old age, he is still enthusiastic about blood donation.
