PAULOWNIA FLOWER FESTIVAL KICKED OFF
The Paulownia Flower Festival has kicked off with the tung trees in Tucheng District of the New Taipei City blooming already. Even though it is estimated that the trees will not reach full blossom till next week, many people are making their way to the area to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Xinbei City Tucheng District has officially entered into the Paulownia flower season, and several people are taking advantage of the long weekend to visit the blossoms.
This winter's harsh weather conditions have actually pushed back the time for the flowers to reach full blossom.
As a reminder, traffic starting around Cheng Zhong Road will be regulated and small-sized vehicles will not be allowed access. So if you want to witness the spectacular view, you are advised to take public transportation.
