A family in Taitung has donated out their 9-year-old boy's organs after he died from a tragic accident. Their admirable gesture has helped save the lives of five individuals.

The cute boy in the picture is 9-year-old Chia-en.

He loved to swim and hang out with classmates.

But his smiles can only be preserved in photos, because the boy was hit by a car by someone who violated the traffic regulations.

The boy passed away.

His father was so mad at first, but decided to forgive and donate the boy's organs, including heart, skin, bones, liver and kidney as a way to continue his life.

This decision saved five lives.

The boy's father said he learned to let go and pass the boy's love forward.

After this accident, his family members all sign the organ-donor cards to honor the boy and help those in need.
