Over 300 elementary and junior high school principles in Greater Taichung City attended a meeting earlier this week to discuss the measures to curb campus bullying. In addition to strengthening the existing reporting system, principles also said that they will raise the faculties' alertness in detecting and reporting bullying cases.

The spring semester starts next week, and right before that, 300 plus principles from elementary and junior high schools in Greater Taichung city gathered to discussion the issue of school bullying.

Most people agreed to promote through education while training teachers to be aware of the situation and being more observant.

The standard procedure is to take over the situation after discovering any bullying acts and report the situation before the Ministry of Education is involved,

that is being asked of all elementary and junior high schools.

School bullying is also part of the evaluation of teachers and schools,

with school superintendent send to those campuses with the serious school bullying.

In addition, Taichung is splinting its school districts into 10 zones,

with each having its own military training supervisor, should school bullying become a problem, that person can be involved to prevent bullying from becoming out of control.
