FOUND AND SOLD
An auction has been held at the Taichung Railway Station, for all the things that were left behind by the passengers. After a year without people coming forward to claim it, the representatives are now allowing new owners to take these discounted items home.
The train station is full of people, as they are digging through lost items to find some valuables.
There is this old bike covered with a layer of dust, as this mother is able to purchase the bike for her middle school son to travel to school.
The next round of auctioned items elicits another round of excitement.
Although the laptop looks a little old, many people are rushing to bid on it and the price soars with a female bidding 4,300 NT dollars.
She believes that it is still excellent value for the money.
According to regulations, these items, which have been publicly announced for a year and remain unclaimed, can be auctioned off by the station.
Still, station authorities remind people to pay attention to their belongings when exiting the train, though today it was an auction with many people eagerly looking for hidden treasures.
