SECURITY TEAMS TO ENSURE A SAFE HOLIDAY
The security teams are on a mission while we enjoy the family reunion for the Chinese New Year. New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu has requested for a group of officers to patrol the area around the clock, while Kaohsiung City Deputy Mayor Chen Chi Yu is also doing the same, in ensuring a safe holiday for the residents.
New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu inspected the preparation work of police, military police, firemen of over a hundred people at nighttime.
Female volunteer police showed off self-protective martial art at the site.
It is the first Chinese New Year security drill for newly elected Eric Chu and he is going to make sure that no crimes are allowed in his town.
Similar promise was also made in southern Taiwan in Greater Kaoshiung City where Deputy City Mayor Chen Chi Yu hosted the Chinese New Year security drill himself.
After the integration of Kaohsiung County and Kaohsiung City, the former city and county border is going to get extra patrol to make sure the residents can have a safe holiday season.
