The 38-year-old comedian Chung Hsin-ling has just tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Chen Chin-ho, who is a stage actor. The newlyweds took turns picking each other up during the wedding, winning loud applause from hundreds of guests.

Stage actor Luo Pei-an and two other men dressed up as chubby swans to entertain the guests at the 40-table banquet, and director Wu Nien-jen was among the many celebrities in attendance.

The 38-year old Chung has spent her life making people laugh, and it was a rare occasion indeed when she shed tears in public.

Nevertheless, she and her new husband had their guests in stitches throughout the evening.
