New Image of Young Workers
To change the general impression that the young generation is spoiled and sluggish, a photograph exhibition was held in Taipei to show a different side of them. Using this opportunity, the individuals are proving to the public that they are not all sheltered, but can withstand pressure at work.
A-Bao is an 18-year-old and an employee of a printing company.
He has worked for more than a year making things like the signboard used at press conferences.
He is young and focused and very professional about his work. He is one of the images in this young photographic exhibition.
These photos remind us that these young people are part of every day life but may not be noticed.
He was a teacher assistant at 17, and at 19 a scooter repairman and at 20 a broadcast assistant.
They have a great interest in work and because A-Bao doesn't love to study he has turned to something else.
According to Council of Labor Affairs statistics, 750,000 15-24-year-olds will enter the job market and they can be seen through these photos.
It is also a response to a group labeled the strawberry generation.
