The celebration surrounding the 100th anniversary of the ROC is not just about fireworks. Various products featuring the coming year are being sold in many stores, including traditional BBQ fried rice, glassware bunnies, and commemorative stamps.

Every year, what people look forward to have got to be the firework display at Taipei 101.

This will be the 100th year of ROC so the Chunghwa Post has issued a special commemorative National Day Firework stamp.

Also, next year is the year of rabbit, so anything that has to do with bunnies or rabbits are popular, so the Center for Traditional Arts in Yilan has made 100 glass bunnies and glass peony, which had been made especially for this occasion.

Of course, there is also food to celebrate this New Year - Chinese BBQ rice with a fried egg on top, an old-favorite for those who grew up in military neighborhood.
