Roc, Mascot of Taiwan's 100th Year
The Council for Cultural Affairs has unveiled the winning design for the mascot of the nation's centennial celebration activities. The unique character goes by the name of "ROC", and is created based on the elements of our national flag.
This super cute mascot is a little bit naughty but it's full of energy.
This is the winning mascot that symbolizes the centennial of the Republic of China. It's called "ROC."
With a pair of big red 100-shaped eyeglasses and wearing the national flag scarf, the mascot radiates 12 light beams from its head, looking super adorable.
The mascot has a name called "ROC", which is the initial of the country's official name.
Its design from head to toe contains deep meanings that resemble the Republic of China.
Through its auspicious and lucky image, the mascot is to emit positive energy to celebrate the country's 100th anniversary.
