The public welfare lottery's accumulated earnings have exceeded 195.2 billion NT dollars from the launch date until June of this year. Now, the Ministry of Finance and Taiwan Lottery are joining forces to organize an exhibition to showcase the social welfare services that have been achieved with the money, and to encourage the public to continue their support.

Ministry of Finance and Taiwan Lottery are to continue their effort in social development. Since the launch of the public welfare lottery system, the surplus has exceeded NT$195.2 billion.

And the system provides NT$2 billion to MInistry of Finance annually.

The money donated by jackpot winners is also as high as NT$1.4 billion.

According to Taiwan Lottery chairman Steve Hsueh, 40% of the huge sum of money is for social welfare programs.

Most importantly, there are only few countries like Taiwan, where only the physically challenged can work as ticket vendors.

The surplus of public welfare lottery has been proven to be a great support for the disadvantaged groups.
