Danger of Caffeine-containing Sweets
A 7-year-old girl who suffered from severe vomiting was diagnosed with stomach ulcer. The doctor found that she overindulged in chocolates and sodas, which caused damage to her body because of the caffeine. Medical experts suggest that children's daily consumption of coke should be no more than 250 c.c. and parents should avoid giving children too much sweet treats.
The sweet chocolate is easily consumed, while a large cola helps to quench the thirst.
The attraction of sweet foods is hard for children to block. Although sweet foods taste good, don't eat too much!
Because recently, a 7 year old girl that drank cola and ate chocolates everyday threw up violently over 20 times in a day.
She even threw up blood.
She was diagnosed with severe stomach ulcer after being checked by doctors.
The severe situation is what caused the violent throw ups. Doctors suggest young children to drink no more than 250 c.c. of cola per day.
Sugar foods should only be consumed as a treat after lunch and be only consumed once a day.
Parents are advised not to let their children drink cola on an empty stomach.
Caffeine drinks can easily create more stomach acid, which can damage stomach lining.
If children start throwing up violently, they should be quickly taken to the hospital.
