Less Job Seekers
We're seeing a significant decrease of job seekers this time around, at the job fair that took place at the Taipei World Trade Center. Companies are using every possible way to catch the attention of qualified workers, including offering attractive benefits and salaries. It's a good sign rather, showing that less people here in Taiwan are out of work.

One real estate agency hired an attractive young man to act as a live advertisement for its management intern position, which pays 2 million NT per year.
In light of the recovering economy, many people have begun thinking about looking for jobs with higher wages or closer to their homes.
As the unemployment rate was significantly higher one year ago, attendance at last year's event was noticeably higher.
While there are many jobs available, many employers have a preference for employees with advanced degrees. Therefore, job seekers should keep their own qualifications in mind when applying for jobs.
