JACKIE CHAN'S CHARITY EFFORT
Hong Kong megastar Jackie Chan has recently made a public appearance in Beijing to celebrate the charity organization, Operation Smile's 20th anniversary in China.
Hundreds of volunteers worldwide gathered for the event, to raise awareness of the difficulties of children born with facial deformities.
The action star is well-known for his long-term support of charities in the country, and he has also been the cultural ambassador to China for many years. When asked about his thoughts about his charitable deeds, he said that as a celebrity, it's essential to contribute his efforts in helping more people.
He also shared a story of him helping out the doctors to under go a surgery for a child in Vietnam. "The whole process is only 3 minutes long. It can change a kid's whole life."
