We are days away from the airdate of the high-budget television series, "Material Queen" starring Vanness Wu, Lynn Xiong, and Daniel Chan. The drama is set to debut on June 17th exclusively here on CTS, so be ready to be wowed away by the amazing cast, as they take you on a romantic journey from Paris to Shanghai. With the violin in hand, actor Vanness Wu plays Jia-hao in "Material Queen", the latest television drama, as an aspiring musician in Paris, who is not afraid to chase for what he wants. "This is how I am!" "Who's that?" "He's a nobody." Wu first rose to stardom after starring in "Meteor Garden" in 2001, which was first aired here on CTS, a Taiwanese drama that gained huge success across Asia. His TV appearance then landed him a record deal along with his other three costars, forming the popular boy band, F4 in 2001. Wu released his first solo album the following year, and with a handful of records, he then started focusing on his movie career. Now he has 10 films under his belt, with another one in the making. After the "Meteor Garden" series, Wu surprised his fans with his role in "Autumn's Concerto", which broke the record for having the second highest rating Taiwanese idol drama of all-time. And acting side by side of Wu, is model Lynn Xiong as Chu-man, who is the dream girl for every man out there, both on the screen and in real life. Just look at those long legs. Behind the scene, she is known for dating Cantonese star Aaron Kwok, but Xiong as Chu-man is taking the lead in this drama, with a goal of hitting the jackpot. Not literally, but finding a man that can fully support her financial desire. That's when Daniel Chan, as Kai-ming, comes in to complicate the situation with his existence as someone that has nothing but money. Chan first got into the music industry in 1995, and became an instant pop sensation with big hits including "Mind Games", and "The Heart Already Knows". He also took on the acting path, making a dozen movies and appearing in 11 TV series. And as Kai-ming, Chan is taking up the challenge, in an attempt to sweep Man-chu off her feet, and far away from Jia-hao's arms. So who will ultimately win her heart?
