The National Cycling Club Series, Stage 2-3 Tour of Taiwan, just kicked off in the east coast of Taiwan, taking bikers from Hualien to Taitung. More than 2,000 people signed up for the green event, in which the riders will pedal more than 300 kilometers.

Taiwan cyclist Foundations National Cycling Club Series, stage 2-3 just kicked off as it is taking place on Eastern coast of Taiwan from Hualien to Taitung on the Hualien Taitung highway.

Cyclists from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong the Netherlands and the U.S. gathered to compete in the event.

It is the 11th annual race, the event takes 2 days, which is a tough challenge to all the participants, including the supporting team to finish the 300 kilometers race.

There is also an amateur race too that is a 2 days event of 380 kilometers.

The first day is from Hualien to Chiben of Taitung and the second day, the participants would ride back to Hualien city.

In addition, the TCF has designed activities for the families to take bus ride on certain sections of the course to let people enjoy the beautiful view along the Taiwan Eastern coast.
