WORST DAY FOR GLOBAL STOCK MARKETS
Wall Street experienced the worst day since the 2008 financial crisis, with the Dow tumbling 512 points, or 4.3 percent, as fears intensified over the global economy, following the drop of more than 3 percent, in the leading European bourses.
Meanwhile, the price of gold has hit a new high, a record of $1,677 per ounce.
