HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE FOR MOMS
The Department of Health just released a survey, which shows that Taiwanese women who are between 21 and 30 exercise less than other age groups. The experts are reminding the ladies to not skip meals and to maintain a regular exercise routine to stay healthy.
35-year-old Ms. Yu is currently the executive director of a health center.
She likes to eat snacks while watching television and has gained a lot of weight.
Finally, her cholesterol level even exceeded standards.
47-year-old Ms. Li is a nurse and has such a busy schedule and she does not take regular meals, resulting in a hormonal imbalance, hypertension, and diabetes.
When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she finally realized the importance of good health.
More people want to lose weight and according to Taipei's Department of Health, 23% of married women in Taipei want to maintain regular exercise habits and 50% hope to undergo effective weight control within a month.
How can one stay healthy?
Nutritionists usually say that three meals a day and a balanced diet can help.
Also, one should drink fewer sugary drinks, and avoid eating until one is full.
And, don't eat 3 hours before bedtime.
