MAKING GOOD USE OF DRIFT WOODS
Some people are making good use of drifting woods by turning them into art installations. Here on CTS, let's check out their creativities.
The cute half-sphere wash basin is made of discarded plastic floats of the fishing nets.
And the floats can also be used in the water tank of the toilet. A man in Taitung has been collecting discarded plastic floats along the coast, and with his creativity, he turns the trash that damages the beach into some useful equipments in the bathroom.
His creativity not only helps protect the environment, but also saves him a lot of money. He says that the bathroom equipments usually cost 10,000 to 100,000 NT dollars, but with only few materials such as tubes and wires, it costs him less than 5000 NT dollars to make the equipments on his own.
His relatives and friends are all impressed with his creativity in making these floats into useful tools.
