Two Taiwanese baseball legends, Lee Chu-ming and Chuang Sheng-hsiung renewed their rivalry on the field last week when the two teams they now manage respectively held a cross-strait exhibition game in Taoyuan. And Lee's team, the Taoyuan Aerotropolis, eventually routed the visiting Jiangsu Hope Stars 10-0.

In the game against Chinese Jiangsu Hope Stars, which visits Taiwan for the first time, Taoyuan Aerotropolis didn't manage to score a point for the first six innings.

Until the Chinese team switched its pitcher, the local team was able to show its batting strength by scoring 9 points at once and closed the game with a 10-0 victory.

Chief coach of Taoyuan team Lee Ju-min praised his rival coach Chuang Sheng-hsiung for the methods of training his starting pitcher and said that he has learned something new from Chuang.

While the coach of Chinese team spoke highly of Lee's strategic approaches.

Chuang has been the chief coach of Jiangsu team since last year and the team has improved quite a lot under his leadership and won the third place in the China Baseball League.

However, Chuang hopes that he would have more opportunities to return to Taiwan and pass on his experiences to more young baseball players.
