Taiwanese sensation Jay Chou has gone from making records, to shooting a Hollywood film, and now he is joining NBA star Kobe Bryant in the basketball court for a commercial.

Singer Jay Chou dunks over his opponent, basketball player Kobe Bryant. Matched up against the 198-centimeter tall Bryant, the 173-centimeter tall Chou often got his shot blocked.

Chou has played in All-Star games in Taiwan and also previously starred in a basketball movie, and is confident in his basketball skills.

He says that playing against Bryant was the only time in his life that he has been overmatched on the court, but he was able to successfully posterize Bryant with the help of a skateboard.

The singer says that he wrote a love song while filming the commercial, and convinced Bryant to sing a duet with him.

Through the commercial, Chou will be one step closer to becoming a global icon.
