To improve the efficiency of the police service in New Taipei City, a special anti-crime task force was launched on Friday with a full-scale demonstration of its instant response capability.

Police officers at the fight scene of two rival gangs not only find that the crowd is hard to control but that they are the targets of gang taunts to a challenge.

They must rely on a special crime fighting force that gathers in less than three minutes and arrives at the scene in five minutes to quell the violence, separate the gangs, inspect IDs, and arrest criminals.

If they find a person carrying a ballistic weapon running away, they must immediately set off to catch the criminal.

In order to counter street violence, Xinbei City is establishing a special speed force, utilizing the support and resources of 16 districts.

In the case of an emergency or criminal event, a special squad comprised of precincts forces and detectives are on constant standby to offer their support and resources

The area of Xinbei City is large,

so having such a special system of police resources will consolidate all the police forces and have a great effect on public safety.
