Fuhsing Express trains, which have been running for more than 30 years, will come to a stop next month. Following the Taiwan Railway Administration's announcement, many are hopping on the train, for their one last ride.

Taiwan Railway's blue Fuhsing Express trains will be officially retired next month after three decades of service.

Although Fuhsing trains are the same size as Chukuang trains, their seats and aisles are narrower.

The TRA's newer electric trains serve the same routes as Fuhsing trains and ticket prices are the same, but the electric trains are considerably newer and more comfortable.

The nine Fuhsing trains that are currently serving TRA's western and southern routes will stop operating on December 22nd, and Fuhsing train cars will be appended to other TRA trains or preserved for future exhibitions.

Many Fuhsing fans have already purchased tickets to take a ride on the train's final trip on December 21st.
