Alzheimer Battle
A senior citizen was diagnosed with the Alzheimer's disease 13 years ago, and back then the doctors said he only possessed the IQ of a 7-year-old. But now, at the age of 83, he has not only overcome his mental difficulties, but even passed the exam of a college degree program.
Lin is the oldest student in the college class at 83 year-old, who is also the one that studies the hardest in class.
Using magnifying glass, Lin wish he could write down everything the professor said in class. Lin would often ace tests, which many were surprised when they found out that he was suffering from Alzheimer's disease 13 years ago.
At that time, the doctor said Lin only had the IQ of a 7 year-old and Lin would often fall asleep behind the wheels, forget his phone number or even how to use a phone. Lin would even forget how to get home.
The disease did not take him down as Lin conquered the battle against the disease with the help of his son and daughter in law and was admitted to the philosophy majors prep class for college.
Lin said that the chance was God sent and he would learn as much until the day he dies.
