National Day Parade Rehearsal
Good morning and thank you for tuning in to CTS News. I'm Cary Chuo.
The Double Tenth Day is just around the corner, and a large scale rehearsal of the military parade was held at the Presidential Plaza on early Thursday morning. Of all the participating soldiers, one woman in particular has attracted most of the media attention. And she's no other than the first female motorcycle platoon leader in the history of ROC Military Police.
A rehearsal for the Double Ten National Day military parade took place at Presidential Plaza early Thursday morning.
Military officials called for strict attention to detail, and ensured that the soldiers taking part in the parade executed each movement in perfect synchronicity.
One of the highlights of the parade will be the motorcycle brigade. Chang Shu-yu is the first motorcycle platoon leader in Taiwan's history, and has been training day and night along with the rest of her brigade for weeks.
Although many of the soldiers are exhausted by the demanding rehearsal schedule, they are all determined to put on a perfect show on Sunday.
