Plan Ahead for 101 Fireworks
You better start planning ahead, if you want to catch the splendid fireworks from Taipei 101.
With three months to go until the New Year's Eve of 2011, people are already booking hotel rooms with views to see the annual presentation.
Here on CTS, we're encouraging you to begin making arrangements.
Many people have already begun making hotel reservations for New Year's Eve to ensure that they get an unobstructed view of Taipei 101's 188-second fireworks show.
The Grand Hyatt Taipei's 222 rooms and suites with views of Taipei 101 have been fully booked since early July. In contrast, rooms were still available last year in October.
This 70-ping suite, which costs nearly 100,000 NT per night, has a sitting room, bar, and bedroom, and views of Taipei 101.
Another five-star hotel in the Taipei 101 area won't open until December 28th, but it recently set a New Year's Eve room rate record of 350,000 NT for its Presidential Suite.
Since 2011 is also the Republic of China's centenary, many people are making New Year's Eve celebration plans especially early this year.
