Ship-like Campus
For hundreds of fortunate children in Taichung, going to school each day is just like visiting an amusement park. The newly opened Da Dun Elementary school distinguishes itself in architectural creativity, with students describing the entire campus as a "cruise ship."
With an elevator that looks like a chimney, Taichung Citys Da Dun Elementary School has all the kids abuzz about going to a school that looks like a ship.
Students feel as though they're stepping on the ship's deck.
When the school bell rings, students rush excitedly to their classes because their school is like a great, big amusement park.
On the walls, are small bean sprouts waiting to grow and expand.
And in the quadrangle with winding walkways are where the students raise the flag every morning.
Compared to a traditional elementary school, this school makes learning more exciting and fun for the students.
Students are quick to compare this school to heaven, and looking down from atop, its as if the students are looking down from a big ship.
Theres the ships prow and stern and even a chimney, all appearing ready to set sail any moment.
This school makes learning stress-free and fun for all its students.
