One of a Kind Helmet
Taiwanese safety helmet recently made a debut appearance on a fashion show catwalk, designed by a 29-year old Taiwanese, who opened the first of his six helmet stores when he was just 23 years old, and the business is now earning an annual revenue of $14 million NT.
This safety helmet recently caught the eye of a French fashion designer, and soon found its way onto the catwalk at an international fashion show.
The silver helmet was paired with a pair of aviator sunglasses, and made quite a splash.
Helmet designer and entrepreneur Tai Nung-chia's "Glitter" line also includes this shimmery leopard pattern helmet.
Tai says that he was extremely surprised to hear that his helmet had been featured in a fashion show, but that he saw it as a sign that his hard work over the years has paid off.
The 29-year old entrepreneur and designer opened the first of his six helmet stores six years ago.
Although the market is extremely competitive and price wars are common, Tai has carved out a niche for himself with his hand-painted, three-dimensional helmet designs.
He is currently seeking a patent for his fluorescent helmets, which provide an added measure of safety for those who ride at night.
