For those who have problems with their eyesight even after adjustments are made, there could be a problem with the cornea.
A female patient in her late 30s recently suffered from symptoms of blood-shot eyes and losing her eyesight.
She didnt go to the ophthalmologist until a month later, only to find out that it was cornea dystrophy, for which the cornea would slowly dissolve and would lead to blindness if left untreated.
The blood-shot eyes from rubbing could lead to sudden lost of most of the eyesight. The symptom could be the Cornea Dystrophy.
A female patient in her late 30s recently suffered from itchy red eyes and didnt go to the ophthalmologist until a month later and was diagnose with Cornea dystrophy with her cornea swollen
and the gray spots being the shattered cornea, which caused eyesight to be weakened.
In worst case, she would need cornea transplant.
Those over the age of 50 should be aware for Cornea Dystrophy ,especially because it runs in the family. It is suggested that once the eyesight start to weaken, a check up at the ophthalmologist is a must.
