Not far from the city of lights, a new hotel that offers weary Parisians the chance to fall asleep beneath the glow of the stars. The Bubble Tree hotel is the brainchild of French designer Pierre-Stephane Dumas. PIERRE-STEPHANE DUMAS, DESIGNER OF 'BUBBLE TREE' SAYING (French) : "I think nearly all of us have dreamed of something like this. To experience the fading of the light, from sunset to sunrise, and, basically to be able to see the Milky Way through the roof of your room." Strategically placed in areas chosen for their natural beauty, the air-filled bubble rooms allow guests to experience nature without the hassle of setting up a tent. PIERRE-STEPHANE DUMAS, DESIGNER OF 'BUBBLE TREE' : "It's is a structure without a frame, and so we send in air into it continually holds the structure up. This allows us at once to continually renew the air and avoid condensation and humidity. That avoids a problem frequently encountered in tents, so that we have a truly healthy habitat." With optional champagne and chamber music, it's already gaining a reputation for bringing a touch of luxury to the wilderness experience. CARINE MACE, GUEST : "I wanted somewhere a little bit extraordinary to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and this is certainly not something that you can find anywhere, and not many people know this area, it's true that sleeping under the stars - there's nothing better!" This particular bubble tree is situated near the bucolic grounds of the Chateau Mal-maison, once home Napoleon's wife Josephine de Beau,harnais. However the odd structures have also caught the imagination of some in the business world. Several companies have commissed Dumas to build bubble structures for corporate events.
