MICROSOFT SHOWCASES WINDOWS 8
Microsoft is giving a sneak peak of its new Windows 8 operating system. The software's main feature is that it is tailored for touchscreens and tablets, which are experiencing much faster growth than the traditional PC market.
The early reviews on Windows 8 are quite favorable as Microsoft tries to take on the success of the Apple iPad. The new operating system should start showing up in tablet devices as early as the middle of next year.
