Minaj and Rihanna walked through a destructive town, taking the listeners to a post-apocalyptic world in the hip hop musician's "Fly" music video. As Minaj's eighth single from her debut album, "Pink Friday", the inspirational song portrays the ideas of overcoming all stereotypes and negativity, achieving victory at the end of the road. Under the management of one of the most prominent rappers, Lil Wayne, Minaj achieved her first label success after signing a record deal with Young Money Entertainment. "Pink Friday" was well recognized on the charts, and Minaj became the first artist ever to have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time.
