"GALAXY" BANNED IN EUROPE
The intellectual-property infringement disputes between Apple and Samsung seems never ending, but this time, Apple is getting the upper hand.
Apple claimed victory on Tuesday as Samsung was ordered by a German district court to remove the Galaxy Tab 10.1, from stores in Europe.
The injunction will affect the sales of Samsung's 10.1-inch touchscreen tablet in 26 countries belonging to the European Union, which will cause a huge setback to the Korean company in the European markets. Analysts said that the ban could last more than a year.
Apple has also requested a similar injunction against Samsung in Australia, which has caused Samsung to postpone the launch of its product in the country.
