A PUPPET SHOW FOR ADULTS
Most puppet shows are made for kids, with cute puppet characters and encouraging stories. However, a puppet theater from Germany has been presenting a different puppet show for adult audiences in Taiwan. And here on CTS, let's have a look.
When the memory box is opened, secrets jump out one by one and join the spirits in a wild dance.
Frank Soehnle is not only the director of the puppet troupe, but also its puppet maker, actor, and puppeteer. He often interprets multiple roles at once, and his skillful hands bring puppets to life.
The troupe was founded in 1991, and has toured the world extensively.
It has been honored with multiple awards at Spanish puppet theater festivals, and was recently invited to perform in Taiwan.
The production contains no dialogue, and therefore presents no language obstacles.
The majority of puppet theater productions around the world are targeted towards young audiences, but this production, which takes place in a dark, mysterious world, is for adults.
